Simon & Mercy Fuller, Sri Lanka
Simon Fuller grew up in Tunbridge Wells and was brought to this church by a Skinner's school friend. He joined the youth group and gave his life to Christ and was baptised. After graduation from the School of Oriental and African Studies he was based in Colombo whilst doing a Phd in language work in the Maldives. He worked in a church, specialising in the music side of worship and eventually gave up his studies to concentrate on Christian work. For some time he was on the staff of a theological college. He met and married Mercy, a Tamil, and they have a daughter named Jumana.
Together, Simon & Mercy felt called to take the gospel to the people of Sri Lanka, not touched by existing churches. They have known hard times, including persecution but have faithfully witnessed by living in the community and sharing the Gospel.
