BMS is the oldest missionary organisation, founded in the late 18th century by William Carey, and now works in 4 continents.

In Europe, we support the local church in theological education, prison ministry, English teaching and pastoring congregations.

In many different countries in Africa, the church is supported in medical, education and legal work focusing on peace and justice.

In Asia, development work has been the way into several countries in the 10/40 window, often in partnership with interdenominational 'umbrella' agencies.

In Latin America, we work with churches to provide preschool education through the PEPE programme, support theological education and through the agricultural development work of our TWBC Link Missionaries, Mike and Daveen Wilson, seen the establishment of a church and the training of its new members in leadership.
